Passed peacefully away at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre on Tuesday October 4, 2011, Catherine Mary Sceviour at the age of 88 years, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Winston Sceviour of Corner Brook, Yvonne Schibler (Art) of Ontario, Eva Martin (Rodger) of Ontario, Linda Drover of Corner Brook, David Sceviour (Denise) of Corner Brook, Claudette Bennett (Albert) of Ontario, Verna Phumprey (Gerard) of Alberta, Robert Sceviour (Judy) of Corner Brook, also a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Alexander, daughter Marie, and her brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Thursday October 6, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Friday October 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Fran Ota officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
