CHURCHILL, Ina Mae – 89, of Olsen’s Nursing Home, formerly of Sandford, passed away at Olsen’s Nursing Home on September 29, 2011. Born July 10, 1922, in Brenton, Yarmouth County N.S, she was a daughter of the late Clyde Cann and Laurena Hatfield. Ina was a member of Sandford Wesleyan Church for many years. She sponsored children overseas and was always known for her laugh. Ina was an avid gardener and loved her pink flowers. She is survived by brother, Enos Hatfield Cann, New York; Sister, Annie Laura Cann, Brenton; Nieces, Janice, Faith, Esther; Nephews, Ralph, David and Richard. She was predeceased by brother, Emory Clyde Cann; Sister in law, Viola Churchill and Niece Joanne. Visitation was at Sweeny’s Funeral home and Crematorium Tuesday October 4 from 1-2pm, a funeral service followed, Rev. Karl Gorman officiated. Interment followed in Darlings Lake Cemetery.
