Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Centre, Botwood, on October 4, 2011, after a short illness, Elmo Rickey Brenton of Peterview. He was 62 years of age. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Maggie; sister, Hazel; sister-in-law, Linda Brenton. He leaves to mourn his daughter, Paige Pope; sister, Florence (Benson) Keefe; brothers, William, Hector, Jim (Blanche), Richard, Woodrow (Louise), Andrew (Flossie) and a circle of other relatives and friends. Captains Duane and Doreen Colbourne conducted funeral services at The Salvation Army Citadel, Peter-view, on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011. Interment was at the Salvation Army cemetery, Peterview. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers were Hector Brenton, Chris Boone, Austin Taylor, Harvey Blake, Gilbert Blake and Benson Blake.
