SHARPE, ALBERT JOHN - Albert J. Sharpe of London, ON and formerly of Nortondale, NB passed away October 6, 2011 at Kensington Village Nursing Home in London, ON. Albert was born at Woodstock, NB in 1928, a son the late Roy and Hazel (Fawcett) Sharpe. He resided in New Brunswick all of his life until 2003 when he moved to London, Ontario. He is survived by his children, Clayton Sharpe (Judy) of Temperance Vale, NB, Ernest Sharpe (Elaine) of London, ON, Marilyn McLeod (Wendell) of Fall River, NS and Stanley Sharpe (Debbie) of Temperance Vale, NB; a daughter-in-law, Rowena Upham, (Ivan) of Sussex, NB; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; his sisters, Rena McGrotty (Frank), Pearl Williston, both of Miramichi, NB and Anna Pratt, Whistler, BC; his brothers, Bernard Sharpe and Armand Sharpe (Doreen), both of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by his wife, Florence (Pike) Sharpe, two sons Vaughan and infant Ronald Albert and a sister Jenny Trainer.
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Sunday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Nortondale Cemetery.
