CASWELL - Mabel Noreen Barbara Caswell, age 90 years, of Swift Current and formerly of Success, SK passed away September 30, 2011 at the Swift Current Care Centre. The memorial service was held at 2:00 P.M. from the Success Community Hall, Success, SK with Mr. Marvin Auseth officiating. The ushers were John Spencer and Les Wotherspoon and a solo selection was sung by Oran Anderson. The interment service took place following a reception, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. Noreen is survived by her son Larry Caswell (Bev.); grandchildren: Jack Caswell (Dorothy), Brent Caswell (Janelle), Carol Mack (Terry), Gail Mack (David), Tanda Daughton (Darin), Mark Caswell (Lezlie), Dawn Koethler (Bruce Falk), Brandon Caswell, Wade Caswell, Amber Rempel (Greg); twenty two grandchildren; two great greatgrandchildren; a sister Irene Terlson (Bert), a sister-in-law Sylvia Bowditch and numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents: Doreen and Sidney Bowditch; her husband Herbert Caswell; a son Edward Caswell; great grandchild Sarah Mack; brother's Roland, John and Vic Bowditch; and sisters Audrey Ellis and Shelia McCormick. Noreen was born in the Success District, March 14, 1921. She attended school in Success and was united in marriage to Herbert Caswell in 1939. She was a farm wife all her married life. She enjoyed her yard on the farm cultivating her flowers and garden. Wordsearch and crossword puzzles filled any hours in later years and solitaire was her favorite card game. She will be especially missed by her special friend Jean Bowditch and special neighbours Brian and Marlene McLeod.
