ROSE, ALEXANDER A. - The death of Alexander Rose of Quispamsis, husband to the late Pauline Albertha (McKay) Rose, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2011 at Kingsway Care Centre. Born at Morrisdale, NB on November 10, 1918, he was a son of the late Marshall and Annie (Lewis) Rose. Alexander is survived by his children: Ralph Rose of Saint John, NB and Valerie Stults (Dexter) of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren: Andrew Stults (Kimberley) and Peter Rose; great granddaughter, Laura Stults, and several nieces and nephews. Alexander was the last surviving member of his family, besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A private graveside service will be held in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (Local Chapter-NB) would be appreciated by the family.
