BEHR, Karola (nee Völker)– Passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre, on December 11, 2008, Karola (Karla) Gertrude Maria Behr (Völker) of Three Island Pond, Paradise, aged 77 years. Predeceased by her husband Günter Behr. Left to mourn, with fond and loving memories, are daughter, Monika, son-in-law Paul Cahill and granddaughter Adena; sister Inge Thomé, niece rnMiriam Thomé-Unger and family; sisters-in-law Maria Behr and Luzia Behr and other family in Germany. Also remembering her life with joy will be a large circle of friends, Tom Cat the Seventh and her wilderness neighbours. Karla’s infections laugh, generous spirit and boundless wisdom will be sorely missed. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home and Visitation Centre, 1045 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl Saturday, December 13 from 2-4 p.m. and Sunday, December 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Family Church, Paradise, Monday, December 15 at 10 a.m. with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
