LANGMAID, GERALD FRANKLIN - 1922 - 2011 - Gerald (Jerry) Langmaid passed away October 7. Born in Fredericton, he was predeceased by his parents Frank and Alice (Parker) Langmaid, sister Marjorie Stilwell, brother George, and son Bob. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years Margaret Anne (Bate) Langmaid, daughters Beth (Bill) Hicks, Suzanne and Mary Anne Langmaid, grandchildren Rob Langmaid, Catherine (Anton) Fedorenko, Jim Langmaid and Carolyn Hicks, great-grandchild Mango, sister Miriam Robinson and several nieces and nephews. A WW2 veteran, Jerry was actively involved in scouting for many years, a member of the Legion and active in the Conservative Party. He worked as an insurance adjustor, retiring as a partner from Hope and Associates. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11th 4:30-8:00p.m. at Mactaquac Park Lodge with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 tribute service at 6:00.. Funeral will be at All Saints Anglican Church Crock's Point Road on Wednesday, October 12th at 2:00p.m. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Cemetery Fund (Keswick Ridge), St Mark's Anglican Church (St George), the Yoho Scout Reserve, or a charity of your choice. www.mcadamsfh.com
