CORMIER, ALONZO - 1935 - 2011 - Alonzo Cormier of Moncton, NB, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 9, 2011. Born June 18, 1935 in Bouctouche, NB, he was the son of the late Emile and Mary Cormier (Guiroud). Alonzo will be sadly missed by daughters Lorraine Boucher (Tilmon), Annette Lirrette (Don) and Doris Cormier; sons Roger (Darlene), Donnie (Theressa), Omer (Diane), Timmy (Charmain), Danny (Nicole) and Mike (Mellisa); step-sons Robert and Clerance (Diane); sisters Eliza Collette (Bernard) and Rosemari Hebert (Louis), brothers Donald Cormier (Laurianne), Philias Cormier (Maria); step-brother Daniel Cormier (Jeannette) and adopted niece Sherissa Cormier. He was a loving grandfather and great grandfather to several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Alonzo was predeceased by his wife Irene LeBlanc in 2008; brothers Roger and Joseph; sisters Veolla, Stella, Ella, Noella and step-brothers and sisters Violla, Alice, Rita, Laurraine, Rita, Yvon, Alderic and Gerrard.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Wednesday October 12, 2011 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11:00am with Fr. Cormier officiating. Donations in Alonzo's memory made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
