Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, October 9th, 2011, after a short illness, James Joseph Finn, aged 87 years. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Gertrude Finn, his first wife Joan (nee Carroll, 1960), his daughter-in-law Kelly Anne (1998), his sisters Eileen Lamkin (2009) and Mary Madden (2011). Leaving to mourn his beloved wife and best friend of 41 years Helen (nee Kerrivan); his beloved children: Darryl and Anne-Marie (Denis Van Decker); beloved grandchildren: Haley, Donnie and Vanessa; brothers: Gerard Finn (Anita), Thomas Finn, Peter F. Finn (Noreeta, Regina, SK), Patrick Finn (Audrey, England); his sister: Margaret Finn; special nephew John Purcell (Cathy), numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Jim was a long-time employee of the Waterford Hospital, retiring in 1978. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 6–9 p.m. and Wednesday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 13th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
