Entered into the promise of eternal life with and through Christ on Sunday, October 9, 2011 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by father Donald and first wife Norma. Leaving to mourn wife Marilyn; son Richard; adopted sons Don and Dave (Stephanie); stepchildren Derek Moores (Heather) and Carolyn Barrington (Christopher); grandchildren Devan and Kelsey Flower, Riley and Marissa Moores, Maria and Mya Barrington; mother Bernice Warner (John); sister Kim Todd (Steve); parents-in-law Bill and Dorothy Vokey as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held from the Elim Pentecostal Tabernacle on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
