Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Violet Gillingham aged 84 years. Predeceased by parents Alfred and Elizabeth Gillingham and brother Dorman. Leaving to mourn her son Shawn (Sandra); grandson Shawn Jr; sister Gloria; aunt Ivy Matchum, as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
