(Age 54 years) — Was called to eternal rest on Sunday, October 9th, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his brother Philip Jackman (2004), parents Valentine Jackman (1994) and Stella (Walsh) Jackman (1973). Left with loving memories his wife Ellen (Kavanagh); sons: Anthony and Gregory; brother: Richard Jackman (Barb); sister: Margaret French (Bob); mother-in-law: Patricia Kavanagh; brothers-in-law: Mike, Terry and Dave Kavanagh; sisters-in-law: Joanne and Christina Kavanagh and many nieces and nephews. Also left to cherish his memory are his long time friends Bart and Jeanette Bennett, Lorne Goodwin, Pat Cleary and close cousin Martin Walsh; co-workers and a large circle of family and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 12th and Thursday, October 13th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 14th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made in his memory to the Ronald McDonald House.
