Passed peacefully away in the presence of family and friends at her residence on Saturday, October 8, 2011, Gladys M. Sheppard of Harbour Grace, age 92 years. Predeceased by husband: H. Ross; son-in-law: Donald A. Crocker; sisters: Dulcie Thomas and Lillian Carew. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Deanne Crocker, Harbour Grace, Judy (Dr. Gil) Zimmerman, Montreal, PQ and Lilian (Tony) Cashin, Calgary, AB; four sons: Eric (Mary), Halifax, NS, Harold (Judy), Mount Pearl, Ross, Iqaluit, NU and Keith (Kim), Conception Bay South; twelve grandchildren: Chad, Gina, Lisa, Melanie, Erin, Debbie, Brad, Blair, Leigh, Andrea, Cody and Selina; ten great-grandchildren: Angela, Brandon, Emma, Hannah, Connor, Devlin, Grayson, Kayla, Austin and Dylan; two sisters: Aileen (Jim) Fernandes, Somerset, Massachusetts, USA, and Violet Conley, Fairhaven, Massachusetts, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, October 12 at 2 p.m. from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.
