Peacefully at his late residence on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, of Mr. James E. “Jim” McKay of Mount Stewart, age 69 years.
Beloved husband of Julie (nee Landry) and dear father of Donna (Lloyd) Jay, Heather McKay (Chad MacCallum), Terry McKay and Lisa (Ronnie) McInnis. He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren Cassandra, Sarah and Brittany Jay, Morgan Laybolt, Liam and Georgia McKay, Alexander McInnis, and his sister, Theresa (the late Angus) MacPhee. He was predeceased by his parents James and Alice (nee McQuillan) McKay and his sisters Phyllis (Frankie) Feehan and Sadie (Harold) Doyle.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until Wednesday morning then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
