Gerald T. Seymour, 77, of Neil’s Harbour, passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Ester (Buffett) Seymour.
He is survived by sister, Lorna (Ernest) MacLeod, Cape North; and his best friend, Hannah MacKinnon and family, Dingwall; along with many cousins and friends.
He was a member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Neil’s Harbour.
Gerald was a fisherman, starting with his dad when he finished school.
He will be remembered by his jokes and storytelling and the many tricks he did to people and by his cat ‘Twit.’
Thanks to doctors and staff at the Buchanan Memorial Hospital and QEII Health Science Centre.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Cemetery, Dingwall, with Rev. Warren Heustis officiating.
