JAVOREK, Ladislav Karel - 87, of Kentville, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, due to complications from surgery. Born in the Czech Republic, he was a son of the late Karel and Ladislava (Benda) Javorek. He is survived by his wife, the former Jean MacDougall; his daughter, Greta and her family; his son Steven and his family; his sister, Liba and her family. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a future date. Donations in memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
