(Bob) John Warren (1944 - 2008): It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing on February 21, 2008 of a beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, grandfather and friend. Predeceased by his parents, John and Lily Rice, and parents-in-law, George and Lean Mercer; brother-in-law Fred Kenneth. Bob leaves to mourn with broken hearts and will always be remembered by his best friend and loving wife of 42 years, Louise (Mercer); his devoted children: Linda (Tom), Carol and Robert (Kim); his loving and devoted sister, Carol Williams (Edmonton, Alberta); precious grandchildren: Jordyn and Jack Mercer, Zachary Martin and Joshua Rice; special sister-in-law Barbara Pinsent (Neh); dearly loved brothers-in-law: Robert Mercer (Dolly), George Mercer (Karen), Roger Mercer (Marilyn), Donald Mercer (Barbara) and Derek Mercer (Maureen), as well as his much cherished and loved 18 nieces and nephews, all of whom have crossed his steps of warmth and kindness. Last but not least, he was a man who touched so many hearts that the names are too numerous to mention, but among his closest friends, his curling buddies, the cabin crowd, his golfing cronies and the gang from the Penney Group, he will be truly missed. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mark's Anglican Church, Logy Bay Road. Interment to take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Bob's memory may be made to St. Mark's Anglican Church Fund.
