TILITZKY: ANNE EVELYN (nee Klassen)
Our precious mother, grandmother and great-grandmother entered her eternal rest peacefully on Thanksgiving day, Monday, October 10, 2011 at the age of 92 years. Anne was born on the family farm northwest of Herbert to Cornelius and Anna Klassen on January 24, 1919. She was the fourth of thirteen children and their first daughter. On November 6, 1949 Anne was united in marriage to Neil Tilitzky and they resided in Swift Current in their own home until September 2008, at which time they moved to Moose Jaw to be closer to children and grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by her husband Neil in April 2009; grandsons Reid Chute (1985) and Ryan Chute (2009), her brothers Edward, Irwin, Daniel, Peter, Elmer and Lorent, her sisters Amanda Giesbrecht, Eva Martens and Bertha Leischner. Left to mourn her passing with precious memories are her daughters: Marla Chute (Bartt) - Moose Jaw; Carol - Saskatoon; Donna -Regina; her son Garry - Calgary AB; granddaughters Andrea Garland (Rob) - Moose Jaw and Alana Hazelton (Michael) - Calgary; granddaughter-in-law Marcie Chute - Moose Jaw; great-granddaughter Aubrey Garland; great-grandsons Rhett Chute, Rogan Chute and Brant Garland - all of Moose Jaw; sisters Nellie Penner (John) and Martha Wall- Swift Current and her brother Victor Klassen (Alma) - Main Centre as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The memorial service for Anne Tilitzky will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 2 pm at Culham/Bowers Funeral Home in Swift Current, SK with Pastor Herman Wiebe officiating. Interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 1 pm. Those wishing to join the family for the grave side service should meet at Culham/Bowers Funeral Home by 12:30 pm.
