Lieu de naissance : SYDNEY, Nouvelle Ecosse, Canada
Lieu de décès : Dartmouth, Nouvelle Ecosse, Canada
Date de décès : 21 octobre 2009
With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Pauline Campbell on Oct. 21, 2009, at the Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Alice (Healy) Hawco.
Surviving are her daughters, Michele (Mrs. Paul Rudden), Bedford, and Joanne (Mrs. Kevin Currie), Dartmouth; sister, Lois St. John, Sydney; many nieces and nephews and granddaughters, Holly, Sarah and Janna.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph ‘Dode’ Campbell, sisters, Rita, Clora, Kaye, Chris, and Molly in infancy and brothers, Sandy, Bill and John Patrick.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer parish, Sydney Pensioners Club, Seniors Bowling League, Pier Pensioners Club and Club 55. Pauline was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards and socializing with friends at her various clubs.
Pauline spent the last year close to her family in the Halifax area enjoying time with her granddaughters but her heart remained in Sydney.
We would like to thank everyone at Dartmouth General Hospital for their assistance especially the Fourth Floor West nursing staff for their care and compassion during this difficult time. We would also like to offer our heart-filled thanks to our cousins who offered their continual support during her short illness.
Visitation will be held at the T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in Holy Redeemer Church, Sydney, Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Errol MacDonald officiating. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation, Four West or the Holy Redeemer Parish Building Fund.
