Passed away tragically on Friday October 7, 2011, along with his wife Gladys, Lorne King, aged 65 years, of St. John’s. Predeceased by his parents Susie and Stanley King of Bauline, and his sister Marilyn Day of Clarenville. Survived by his two sons: David (Heather, Josh and Sharri) of Rockford, Michigan, and Jeffrey (Regine) of Frankfurt, Germany; three stepsons: Tony Russell of Fort McMurray, Paul Russell (Jen, Paul Jr., Johnny, and Ashley) of Gander, and Troy Russell (Terri) of St. John’s; his brother-in-law Bill Day of Clarenville, and nephew Christopher Day of Toronto; along with many other family, friends and acquaintances. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, October 14th 10 am – 12 pm, 2 pm – 4 pm, and 7 pm – 9 pm and Saturday, October 15th, 10 am – 12 pm. Service to be held at Barrett’s Chapel 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, October 15th, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Stella Burry Foundation.
