The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, of Muriel Harnett (nee Williams) of Nine Mile Creek, age 69.
Muriel was the beloved wife of Richard Harnett for 39 years. She is also survived by her sister, Lois Carbonneau, Vancouver; sisters-in-law, Joy Williams, California, and Jan Williams, North Bay; and stepson, Christopher Harnett, Ottawa. Muriel was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Florence (Barnhart) Williams; sister, June Houston (Jim); and brothers, Jack and Glen Williams.
No visitation or funeral by personal request. Muriel fought a courageous battle with cancer. Please join us to celebrate her life at the Afton Hall, New Dominion on Saturday, November 5, 2011, 2 to 5 p.m.
