July 22, 1932 – October 13, 2011. Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, October 13, 2011, Brian Brown of New Harbour, aged 79 years. Predeceased by his two siblings, Ruby Dawe and Don Brown. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are: his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Shirley and three daughters, Roxanne (Ted) Hillier, Jocelyn and Patricia; four grandchildren: Andrew, Jennifer, Aaron, Laura and their spouses and eight precious great-grandchildren, also lovingly remembered by brothers-in-law; Ronald Pinsent (Myrtle), Irvine Dawe (Isabelle), a large number of other relatives and many friends. In accordance with Brian’s wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo at a date and time to be announced. The funeral service will be held from St. Augustine’s Church, New Harbour at a time to be announced. No flowers by request. As an expression of sympathy because of his love of animals, donations in Brian’s memory may be made to the SPCA or the Hopeall Pony Sanctuary.
