GOODWIN, Betty Lorraine – 79, of Lower West Pubnico, Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully at the Villa St Joseph Du Lac on October 10, 2011. Born July 24, 1932, in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia she was a daughter of the late Wilbur and Marion Goodwin. She was a member of the Argyle & Pubnico Baptist Church and loved children. She also loved animals, especially the bird at the Villa St Joseph Du Lac. She is survived by sister in law, Verna Goodwin, Yarmouth N.S ; Niece, Bonnie Amirault, Pubnico Yarmouth Co N.S; Nephews, Ivan Goodwin, Shelburne N.S; Kenneth Goodwin, Lower Sackville N.S. Betty was predeceased by brothers, Gordon and Kenneth. Visitation took place on Friday, October 14 from 12 p.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Richard Fowler officiated. Interment followed in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Pubnico N.S. Family flowers only, please.
