ROY, YOLANDE - 1940 – 2011 - Yolande Roy 71, of South Grafton, Massachusetts passed away suddenly at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent on Saturday, October 15th, 2011. She was married to Gerald Roy. Born in Sainte-Anne de Kent on July 27th, 1940 she was the daughter of the late Alphée and the late Emerise (Savoie) Bernard.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Gerald, her two children, Brenda Markowski (Mark) of Grafton, MA and Paul (Sarah) of Raleigh, NC, and two granddaughters, Julia and Grace. She also leaves to mourn four sisters; Normande Allain (Alcide), and Jeannette Richard of Bouctouche Lucina Jaillet of Saint-Edouard de Kent, and Rose-May Richard (Dolphe) of Waltham, MA, and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Edith and Isola.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 from 2 to 4. Mrs Roy will be transported to Roney’s Funeral Home, Grafton, MA. Visitations and funeral Mass will be held in Grafton, MA later this week. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Grafton, MA.
