1947 - 2009

The family is saddened to announce the passing of Ernie Threlkeld on October 13, 2009.

Ernie was born on November 12, 1947 in Kamloops, BC. He was a heavy duty mechanic and enjoyed working with his many trucking friends, most recently at Tony Gray Trucking. He would take the opportunity to go camping whenever he could. In his younger years he enjoyed building model trucks. A lot of people will always remember Ernie as the one to look out for as he was always playing jokes on people.

He is survived by his two daughters; Leah (Chad) Larson of Pullman, Washington and Jennifer Pare of Kamloops, British Columbia. Grandchildren; Tavia Pare of Kamloops, BC and Abigail Larson of Pullman, Washington. Sister Shirley Fisher; Step-brother Pete Slattery, niece Lana Fisher and nephew Ryan Fisher; and eleven cousins.

Predeceased by his parents Marjorie (Clifford) Klassen and Richard (Eunice) Threlkeld.

A celebration of Ernie\'s life will be held on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the North Shore Community Centre, 730 Cottonwood Ave, Kamloops, BC.
