Passed peacefully away at her residence in Brigus on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009, Elsa Whelan, age 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Walter in 1968, parents Frederick and Gretta (Spracklin) Percy and brothers Graham, Clarence, Allan, Roy and Leslie. Leaving to mourn one son George (Anne), one daughter Shirley (Thomas) Linthorne; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother Ralph (Selma); one sister Dorothy (Douglas) Mingo; sisters-in-law: Blanche, Olive and Lillian and a large circle of relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements by Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus. Visitation hours Wednesday, October 21st., 2 p.m - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. to 12, 2-5 and 7-10 and Saturday 10-12.
