Murray: Helen Margaret, 73, of Princeport, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009, in the QE ll HSC Halifax Infirmary. Born in Harmony she was a daughter of the late Edward and Jean (Moore) McCallum. Helen was a former employee of Stanfield’s Ltd. Truro and Frank Cox & Sons in Princeport. She is survived by her companion, John Berry, Princeport; son, Blair (Joyce), Truro; daughter, Barbara Geddes, Alberta; sister Tressa Humphrey (Tom), Scarborough, ON; grandchildren, Dana, Patricia, Troy. She was predeceased by her husband, William Blair; brothers, Geordie, Leroy. No visitation by request. A graveside service and interment will be held Wednesday, October 28, at 11am in the Old Barns Cemetery, Old Barns, with Rev. Ian Harrison officiating. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the IWK Health Science Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro.
