HUNT, William “Willie” Morris - 69, of New Visions Rest Home, Berwick, formerly of Wolfville Ridge, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of Mrs. Dorothy (Spencer) Hunt and the late Roy Hunt. He had been employed with Acadia University and later with the Town of Wolfville. He was a member of the Wolfville Ridge Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Vicki Dodge (Ken Geddes), Kentville; a son, Kevin, Wolfville; a sister, Jean (Basil) Dodge, Greenwich; two brothers, Morris (Valerie), Tantallon; Harold (Ellen), Wolfville; a brother-in-law, Randy Patterson, New Minas; two grandchildren, Shelbie and Ashley. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Frances Patterson. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception, was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011, Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. Burial took place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. The family wishes to thank Doctor Nunn and the staff of Medical A of the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville for their wonderful care and compassion.
