GOODINE, CLAIRE MARIE - It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Claire Marie (McCue) Goodine of Fredericton who died unexpectedly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, October 18th, 2011 after a period of failing health. Born in Cliffordvale,Victoria Co., NB, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Martha (Murchison) McCue and the wife of the late Robert Goodine. Survived by her children, Larry Goodine of Calgary and Sharon Williams, Diane Goodine and Stephen Goodine, all of Fredericton; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Donald McCue of Saint John, Ada Whalen of Fredericton and Raymond McCue of Fredericton as well as several nieces and nephews. Claire was predeceased by her husband, Robert; daughter, Lorraine Smith (2005). She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Friday, October 21st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan’s Catholic Church on Saturday, October 22nd, 2011 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Brian Wetmore officiating.
