It is with great sadness that the family of the late Paul McCarthy announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the age of 95 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters: Ann MacWhirter (Ron Crease) of Halifax, Patricia Piercey (Cal Mullins) of Corner Brook; son: Shawn (Susie) of Toronto; sister: Sr. Sheila; and seven grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Victoria (1993); sons: Donald and David; brothers: Vincent, Austin, William, and James; sisters: Anna, Louise, Margaret, Sr. Rose Helen. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 167 Country Road with Monsignor Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
