(Bob) James (March 26, 1932 - Feb. 22, 2008) Passed away peacefully in the presence of his nieces and nephew after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Mary Shaw, brothers Vincent and Michael, sisters Mary (Doug) Osmond and Isabel and brother-in-law Robert Foley — best friend, and great nephew John Hann. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Angela (Gerald) Burdette, West Virginia; Andrew (Florence), Naniamo B.C.; Imelda (Ron) Gosse, St. Albert, AB; and John (Agnes) Topsail, NL. Sadly missed by his special nieces and nephews Rosemary, Brenda, Maureen, Robert, Shelia and Michael Foley. Also missed by special friends John & Patricia McAllister and Jeanette Boundridge. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Saturday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, February 25th, 2008 at 10 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the John Hann Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Royal Bank, Stephenville.
