Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit at Carbonear General Hospital, Monday, October 17, 2011, age 82 years, of Cupids Crossing. Predeceased by her husband, James, parents, Patrick & Aileen James and brother, John. Leaving to mourn her four sisters-in-law: Lillian James, Rita Butler (Ron/deceased), Hilda Morrissey (Mark/deceased), Nellie Prendergast, nieces and nephews as well as friends and relatives in Boston. She will be lovingly remembered by her special friend, Sam Rose. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus, Visitation on Wednesday, October 19, 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, 10-12 a.m. 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 21 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Brigus.
