At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Thursday, October 20, 2011, of Louis Arthur (Louie) Gaudet of the Lady Slipper Villa, O'Leary and formerly of Piusville, age 82 years. Beloved husband of Marcia (nee Gallant) Gaudet. Born on December 19, 1929, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary Elizabeth (nee Gallant) Gaudet. Dear step-father to Pauline (Albert) Gallant of Brae; Marlene (Everett) McCormick of St. Lawrence; Terry (Laura) Gallant of Bloomfield; Betty (Roy) Gallant of St. Lawrence. He will be sadly missed by his 9 grandchildren and by his great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Catherine Flahaven of Wedgewood Manor, Summerside and Helen Brown of Toronto. He is also survived by a niece Yvonne (David) Gallant of Summerside and by a nephew Ronnie (Linda) Flahaven of Lower Sackville, N.S. He was predeceased by a niece JoAnne Holmes. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. Family visitation only by personal request. Funeral on Saturday morning, October 22nd, from St. Anthony's Church, Woodstock, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Danny Wilson celebrant. Cremation to follow. Interment later in St. Anthony's cemetery. If so desired memorials to St. Anthony's Cemetery Fund would be gratefully appreciated.
