LEO JOSEPH BOURASSA

LEO JOSEPH BOURASSA

Lieu de décès : Kamloops, Colombie Britannique, Canada
Date de décès : 6 octobre 2011

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leo: son, brother, father, friend, and love. Leo has left us for another world but in our hearts he will remain with us forever and for all of our days. We will keep his spirit alive within all of us as he has touched our hearts, each of us, in his unique way.

Leo was born in Masson, Quebec and passed away in Kamloops, BC, on October 6, 2011.

Keeping his memory are: His brothers Yvon (Therese Ayotte), Paul Andre (Peggy). His sisters: Jacqueline Forget, Lucille Bourassa, Jeanne (Joe Bourque), Georgette (Norman Poirier), Odette (Marcel Bernatchez). His four children: Jacqueline Bourassa Wright (Robert Wright), Bruce Bourassa (Marie Pottelberg), Deanna Bourassa Miller (Bruce Miller), Dean Bourassa, and his pride and joy, his only grandchild, Alexander Wright. Leo also leaves behind his very special, beloved long-term friend, Jackie Davis whom he loved, honoured, and revered. Leo also leaves behind 29 nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

Leo was pre-deceased by his mother and father, Josaphat & Lea, son Rolland, brother Ray and brother-in-law Rolland Forget.

Leo was a man who loved to laugh; his humour and distinct sense of wit will be carried with all of us forever. The true Bourassa sense of humour, honour, faith and love will be kept alive in his family, his children, his friends, and his love. We will remember him, on his bicycle, heading out for a nice long ride, 30 kilometers outside of Kamloops, helmet on, Jackie by his side and a twinkle in his eye.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home.
