At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, October 24, 2009, of G. Audrey MacKay of Stanley Bridge, age 82 years.
Born in Tyne Valley on January 17, 1927, daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorothy (MacNevin) MacDougall. Wife of Kenneth R. MacKay. Mother of Dorothy (Oliver) Breeze, Charlottetown, and Leigh MacKay, Calgary. Grandmother to Andrew Breeze and Bronwen Breeze both of Charlottetown. Sister of Isabel MacKinnon, Portugal Cove, Newfoundland, and Blanche (Wendell) Maynard, Birch Hill. Sister-in-law of Muriel MacDougall (late Waldo), and Ella MacDougall (late Rollie), both of Tyne Valley.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington. No visitation by Audrey’s request. A public funeral service will be held at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, New London, on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the New London People’s Cemetery.
