DUPUIS, ROGER - Roger Dupuis, 71, of Grand Barachois passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, October 21, 2011 at The Moncton Hospital, Moncton following a short illness. Born March 1, 1940 in Barachois, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ernestine (Roy) Dupuis. Roger was employed with CN as a timekeeper prior to his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Roger leaves to mourn his beloved wife of 42 years Aline (LeBlanc) Dupuis, four brothers: Normand (Armanda) of Lakeville, Robert (Patricia) of Lynn, Mass., Gérard (Doris) and Alfred (Emerise Gaudet) both of Grand Barachois; four sisters: Hélène Cormier (late Ernest) of Bas Cap Pelé, Huberte Gagnon (Gérard) of Shediac, Élizabeth "Betty" Richard (Laurie) of Breau Village and Rachel Goguen (late Désiré) of Cocagne; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by a brother Hervé and by two sisters: Anna and Jeannette.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand Barachois on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment of the ashes in Grand Barachois parish cemetery.
