It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sharon Anderson on October 16, 2011 at 56 years of age. Sharon is survived by her husband David, who was with her for 31 year and her children Nick and Erika and her granddaughter Aliyah.
Sharon was predeceased by her mother Katherine. She will be missed by her father Earl, her brothers Barry (Margaret) and Doug (Ann) as well as her sisters Terri (Thom) and Eva (Darcy). Sharon was born in Barrhead, Alberta but spent most of her life in and around Kamloops, B.C. She enjoyed many hours camping and fishing with her family, as well as days spent riding motorcycles with her husband.
Sharon found a new joy for life with the birth of her first grandbaby last year and could be found spending hours with Aliyah.
Her sense of fun, humour and outgoing personality will be missed by those she knew.
The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Royal Inland Hospital that helped to make the last days of Sharon's life peaceful and pain free.
We are celebrating Sharon's life on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.; please join us at 1945 Sunnycrest Avenue in Kamloops.
