Passed away suddenly at his residence in Shoal Harbour, Christopher Gregory Costello, age 56, retired employee of Clarenville Newfoundland Power. Chris was predeceased by his parents Gregory and Muriel Costello (nee Oldford). Leaving to mourn with the best of memories are his wife and best friend Margaret, and the light of his life, daughter Zoe. Also left to mourn: sisters: Beverly and Jocelyn (Brian Walsh) and brother Gerry (Verna) and their families; father-in-law and mother-in-law Harry and Mary O’Gay; sisters-in-law: Gail Sharpe, Denise Mifflin (Fred), Debby Fontyn (Frank) and Judith Malvern (Dean); brothers-in-law John O’Gay (Luisa), Brian O’Gay (Michelle) and Bob O’Gay (Lisa) and their families. Chris will be sadly missed by his large circle of relatives and friends, including his Newfoundland Power and Belize Electric buddies, and ‘da boys in ‘da band “Dis Is It.” Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Clarenville. Visitation on Saturday from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm; Sunday from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Monday, October 24, 2011, at 2 pm from Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Clarenville. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris’s memory may be made to the Clarenville and Area SPCA.
