At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, October 21, 2011 of Margaret “Markie” Aitken (nee Hardy) of Charlottetown, aged 83 years.
Beloved wife of Albert “Mike” and dear mother of Marlene MacKenzie, Ian (Heather), Alan (Michelle) and David (Julia). Grandmother of Jason (Tiffany), Kyle (Sarah), Andrew (Abby), Lucas, Hannah, Ella, Tyler and Zackary. Great-grandmother of Erileigh, Cecilia and Pascal. Predeceased by granddaughter Angel and sister Kathleen Hardy.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. Funeral from Trinity United Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Lower Montague Cemetery. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 3:30-5 and 7-9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or Trinity United Church Choir Fund.
