WILEN, RACHEL S. - Rachel S. Wilen, 83, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 23, 2011. Born in Springhill, NS, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Sarah (Duguay) Brine. Rachel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed playing bingo and shopping, but first and foremost, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Rachel will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Ronald “Ron” Wilen; her children, Dr. Ronald (Irene) of Agassiz, BC, Robert (Dawn) of Greenwood, NS, Raymond (Tracey) of Saint John and Margaret (Bob) of Moncton; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Emily and Evelyn and brothers, Ernie and Alfie.
In keeping with Rachel’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral service. Interment at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
