Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of her loving family, Lynn Thorne of Torbay, age 51. Waiting for her in heaven are her parents Mildred and Edwin Thorne along with many other members of her extended family. Leaving to mourn her passing and to celebrate her special life six brothers and sisters: Wilson (Sheila), Clayton (Phyllis), Cynthia, Norval (Clare), Sandra (Jim), Gleniss (Paul). Also eleven nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Arlene, Sherrelle, Rodney, Darrin, Karen, Jill, Neil, Joanne, Robyn and Amanda; special cousin Margie Hanlon (Ed); fifteen great nieces and nephews, along with a large circle of other family and friends. Lynn was a special person who held a special place in the hearts of everybody who knew her. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday, October 25th from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 26th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Nicholas Anglican Church, Torbay. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Anglican Cemetery.
