Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, October 25, 2009, Joan Marie Maunder, aged 71 years. Predeceased by her husband Barry Francis Maunder and parents Alexander and Isabelle Fitzgerald. Leaving to mourn her daughters: Renee (Francis) and Sandra (Glen); brother: Duey Fitzgerald (Shirley); brother-in-law: Roger (Donna); grandchildren: Barry, Samantha, Sydney, Christopher and Josie; nieces and nephews: Stephen and Andrew Fitzgerald, Roger Maunder Jr., Nicole Maunder and special friend Peggy Maunder. Cremation had taken place. No visitation by request. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 3 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
