At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Monday, October 24, 2011, of Kathleen "Kay" Virginia Gillis (nee MacDougall) of Brudenell, age 68 years.
Cherished mother of Carolyn Gillis, Heather Gillis, Sharon (Brian) Gillis-Breau and Gaylene Gillis. Devoted grandmother of Bradford, Grace, Michael, Hilary, Lesley, Alex and Sophia. Also survived by the father of her children, Garth Gillis. Dear sister of Audrey (Gordon) MacDonald, Gerald, Roger (Dianne), Ferne and Wendy (Grant) McKeeman. Predeceased by parents Alexander and Isobel MacDougall (nee MacLeod) and her brother Reginald.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Brudenell Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
