Roy Allison Strang, age 90, of Baie Verte, passed away peacefully at the Westford Nursing Home, Port Elgin on Monday, October 26, 2009.
Born in Tidnish, NB, he was the son of the late Morley and Lily (Brundage) Strang.
Roy will be sadly missed by his son Victor (June), Baie Verte, NB; 2 step-sons, Victor (Deborah) Sears and David (Janice) Sears both of Sackville; daughter Katherine (William) Patterson, Point De Bute, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren. Roy was predeceased by his first wife Annie Briggs in 1966 and his second wife Muriel Phinney in 1999.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241) where visiting hours will take place on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place from the funeral home on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
