Leaving to mourn his wife of 57 years Stella; Daughters: Linda Hicks (Ron Ayles), Lynette Pardy (Todd); sons: John (Theresa), Glen (Bonnie); six grandchildren: Lorne and Ashley Hicks, Christopher and Gregory Ford, Sarah and Jenna Pardy. His dearest friend Wilson Brown. Resting at Strathies’s Funeral Home, Bonavista. Funeral on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 2 p.m. p.m. from St Nicholas\' Anglican Church, Amherst Cove. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Amherst Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted.
