SMIDT, ROBERT - Mr. Robert Smidt of Penobsquis, passed away on October 25, 2011 at the age of 46. Born in Moncton on February 12, 1965, he was the son of Carl and Eleanor (Stevens) Smidt of Penobsquis. Bob is survived by his daughter, Eva Delaney Lowe Smidt and her mother Natalie Lowe of Saskatchewan; his brother John and his wife Sheri and their boys, Justin and Michael, all of Penobsquis and his sister Susan Smidt and Barry Laity of Riverview.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 6 to 8pm. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held from Penobsquis Baptist Church on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Cardwell Cemetery.
