Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Sunday, October 25, 2009, Helen Maria Hannaford (nee Webber), 89 years old. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Janet Webber and her husband Edward J. Hannaford (July 16, 1991). Left with many memories are her five children: Brian, Janet (Donnie Noftall), Denis, Robert, with whom she resided and Anne (John Peddle); her five grandchildren: Jonathan, Holly, Lynn (Dave Sullivan), Christopher (Kelsey Bell) and Beth and one great-grandchild Jack. Left to mourn also is her brother Edward Webber; her sisters-in-law: Pauline Malone and Mary Hannaford; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, October 27th from 11 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Wednesday, October 28th at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
