– It is with great sadness that the family of the late Teresa Mary Healey announce her passing at the Placentia Health Care Centre in Placentia on October 26, 2009. Teresa was born to Richard and Elizabeth Spurvey (nee McCue) of Fox Harbour on August 17, 1933. She was the youngest of seven children: James, Dennis, Leo, Annie (Duke), Alphonsus & Vincent (all deceased). Teresa was also predeceased by her oldest child, Kenneth (1972). Leaving to mourn with precious and beautiful memories, husband Gerald of 57 years; children: Pat (Annette), Terry (John Hart), Gerry (Lorraine), Debra (Mike Duke), Beth (John Howe), John (Gloria), Rosemarie (Harry Murphy), Al (Michelle) and Kenneth. Teresa is also survived by her grandchildren: Ken (Tracey), Adam & Sheena, Gary (Nancy) & Tara (Brian), Deidre & Leah, Shawna (Scott), Kirk & Kristopher, Katrina & Paul, Erin, Liam & Daniel, and Steven & Marc. She leaves behind three beautiful, great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Catherine & Isaac. She also leaves behind, sister-in-law and godmother, Margaret Spurvey, special niece and friend, Patricia Quilty, sisters-in-law: Elizabeth McCue, Mary Bruce (Pat), Evelyn Healey, and brother-in-law Francis Healey (Nell); and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Resting and visitation beginning Oct. 27th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Oct. 28th from 2:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass to take place at Sacred Heart Church, Fox Harbour on October 29th at 11:00 am.
