80, of Sterling and formerly of Westborough, Massachusetts, USA, and Rock Barra, Prince Edward Island, Canada, died on Thursday, August 12, 2010 in the Sterling Village, Sterling, Massachusetts, USA.
He was born and raised in Prince Edward Island, Canada, a son of Ronald and Renilda MacDonald, and was a graduate of Souris High School, Souris, PEI. He worked for General Motors in Framingham, Massachusetts, for over 30 years, retiring in1995. Many years ago he worked in the oil fields in Canada. He was a member of the Holy Family of Nazareth Church in Leominster and St. Margaret's Church, Bear River, PEI.
Allan leaves two sisters, Rosina MacAulay of Leominster and Flora Bishop of Peabody; nieces and nephews including J. Stephen MacAulay of Sterling. A brother, Donald MacAulay and a sister, Catherine McCaffrey, predeceased him.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 2. Burial will be private in St. Margaret's Church Cemetery, PEI.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Margaret's Church, Bear River, PEI.
